What do I get with a hosted Microsoft CRM subscription?

Your hosted Microsoft CRM subscription includes a named user subscription license to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 as well all the managed infrastructure required to operate the software, such as the data centre, servers, and database backups.

You'll need to provide a Windows PC with an internet connection. There are no set up charges. Although there are optional services available such as implementation, migration, training and Beyond Demand™ support

Can I try before I sign up?

Yes, if you contact our sales team we will be able to arrange a test drive demonstration of Microsoft CRM and arrange a free trial.

How do we access hosted Microsoft CRM?

Users can access hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM using an internet-connected Windows PC running Internet Explorer, or using Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook.

Our service includes all three clients as standard: Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook, Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook with Offline Access and the web client.

How do end users access hosted Microsoft CRM wirelessly?

Users can access hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM using a laptop with a wireless internet connection such as wi-fi or 3G.

Alternatively, there are clients available for wireless devices such as Windows Mobile smartphones and BlackBerry devices. These may carry additional cost - contact your account manager for more information.

Can we import data from our existing system?

Yes, you can import customer data from popular contact management tools, CRM systems, or Excel spreadsheets.

Importing data requires some consideration of data quality, duplicate checking and data mapping so we suggest you contact your account manager to request assistance.

Do I need Exchange to benefit from hosted Microsoft CRM?

Together, Microsoft Outlook 2007 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 for Outlook offer the best possible user experience, so we recommend both programs.

However, it is not necessary to use Microsoft Exchange Server to benefit from Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Does hosted CRM run on a dedicated server for each customer?

Hosted Microsoft CRM runs in a shared environment as it is the most cost-effective way for customers to take advantage of the features of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, while keeping costs to a minimum.

We do offer dedicated CRM environments as well for customers with complex customisation or security requirements. Please contact your account manager for assistance.

Can I integrate CRM with my website?

Yes, you can integrate hosted Microsoft CRM with your website.

For example, your website can capture sales enquiries and create leads in your CRM system, or you can create a portal to provide customers or partners with limited access to records and features.

The Microsoft Dynamics CRM External Connector license is included with your hosted Microsoft CRM subscription.

Is my data secure?

All communication between your browser or Outlook and the CRM server is secure via HTTPS.

Your data is stored on database servers with multiple hard drives in a RAID5 configuration.

In addition, all databases are backed-up three times each day to an additional storage array and then to tape each night.

Is there a minimum contract term?

Our standard contract term is 12 months.

Can I export my data?

Yes, you can export you customer data at any time using the Export to Excel feature of Microsoft CRM.

Alternatively, contact your account manager to arrange a database backup to be transmitted securely to you.

How long will it take to set up the service?

Our 'CRM ready' infrastructure means we can provision your system in just an hour.

After that you can start the process of configuring and customising the system to meet your requirements and importing your existing customer data.
